One of my favorite holidays is Christmas. It’s not because of the presents but I love celebrating his presence. The Bible doesn’t specifically mention Christmas but it does talk about the birth of Christ. Here are ten Christmas Bible Verses.
Christmas Bible Verses
Luke 2:8-9 – And there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them.
Isaiah 9:6 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John 1:29 – Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:9-10 – The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him.
Galatians 4:4-5 – But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:21 – And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 2:10 – When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Luke 1:30-31 – And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
2 Corinthians 9:15 – Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable Gift.
