Sizing is one of the hardest things to understand in LuLaRoe. Each style has unique sizing and keeping track of them can be difficult. Do you go up a size or down a size or wear your normal size? Read on to find out LuLaRoe sizing suggestions.
LuLaRoe Sizing
Dresses
Amelia – The Amelia sizing is based on your bust size. If you wear an XL top, you’d want to wear an XL Amelia.
Ana – For the Ana, the bust is more fitted than the Amelia. Many of my customers find that sizing up one is the best size. If you like it more fitted, you could wear your true size.
Carly – The Carly dress is a loose swing dress. You can size down 1-2 sizes depending on your bust size. The Carly should fit across the bust but will then be loose over the stomach area.
Cici – For the CiCi dress, you can wear your true size or one size down.
Dani – The Julia dress fits similar to the Julia dress. I would recommend that you wear your true size or one size up.
Deanne 2 – This is an overlay. You can wear your true size or one size down.
Debbie – This is the long sleeve version of the Julia. sizing will depend on your arms. you can wear your true size or one up if you have smaller arms. If you have larger arms you want to go 1-2 sizes up.
Georgia – Georgia should be worn fitted for the best look. Wear your normal size or one down depending on the size of your bust.
Julia – The Julia dress is a fitted pencil dress. It can be worn your true size or one size up if you have a larger chest.
Maria – For the Maria dress, you can go down one size form your normal size or true to size if you have a bigger chest.
Nicole – The Nicole dress has the same bust as the Ana dress and fits the same. True to size for a fitted look or up one size for a looser fit.
Skirts
Azure – The Azure skirt is the same fit as the maxi skirt. Down one size from your normal size.
Cassie – For the Cassie skirt you can wear it true to size if you’re wearing it with a shorter top. If you want to be “held in” a little more, go down one size and wear a longer top.
Deanne Skirt – Because of the wrap skirt nature you’ll be able to wear multiple sizes in this skirt. Try going down one size from your true size. But if you love the pattern in a different size, try that too.
Jill – Jill has a thick elastic waistband. If you carry weight in your midsection you’ll want to go up one size, otherwise true to size.
Lola – Lola has the same waistband as the Jill skirt, so the same recommended sizing.
Lucy (discontinued) – Lucy is Lola’s big sister – the longer version of Lola with the same recommended sizing.
Madison – The Madison has a lighter waistband than the other skirts. You can wear it true to size.
Maxi – Maxi skirts have a tendency to grow as the day goes on – weight combined with length. I’d suggest going down one size, so it’s not slipping by the end of the day.
Tops
Amy – The Amy is oversizes so you can wear it in a number of sizes. To wear it oversized, perhaps with a tank top, wear it true to size or down one. For a fitted look, you can go down 2-3 sizes depending on your bust size.
Classic T – Classic can be worn true to size or down one if you like a more fitted look.
Gigi – The Gigi is the top of the Julia dress. Try wearing true to size if you’re wearing it tucked into a skirt. Or up 1-2 sizes if you want to wear it untucked with jeans or leggings.
Irma – Irma is a tunic top so it’s designed to be long and oversized. You can go 1-2 sizes down it. It should be snug on your arms but oversized elsewhere.
Perfect – The Perfect has flared sides. It should be snug on your bust – usually 1-2 sizes down unless you have a smaller bust in which case you might go down 3 sizes.
Randy – Randy can be worn true to size or up one size depending on your bust sizing.
Jackets/Coverups
Harvey & Jaxon – The fit on these depends on how you’d like to wear them. I am most comfortable in my true size but if you have larger arms you may want to go up one size.
Joy – Joy is a sleeveless vest. It can be worn true to size or down one size.
Lindsay & Monroe (discontinued) & Shirley – These styles have similar fits. They are designed for an oversized, boho look so don’t be scared to wear them in any size.
Sarah – The Sarah can be worn true to size. You also can go up or down one size depending on your arm size.
Bottoms
Leggings – Leggings come in three adult sizes. OS is for sizes 2-10. TC is for sizes 12-18. TC2 is for sizes 20+.
Jade & Jordan – These workout pants are designed to be snug but they have very little stretch. I’d recommend going up 1-2 sizes depending on your belly weight.
Mens
All of the men’s sizes are true to size for a male. If you’re wearing them as a female I’d suggest going down 1-2 sizes.
Kids
All of the kid’s items fit basically true to size. I’d recommend going with your child’s true size.
Leggings – Kids leggings come in two sizes. S/M is for kid’s sizes 2-8. L/XL is for kid’s sizes 8-14.
Tween Leggings – Tween leggings are designed for sizes 00-0.
The fit of all of our styles really does vary due to the fabric as well. My sizing descriptions are based on an average stretch. If the item has no stretch or is extra stretchy you can adjust accordingly.
